Contracts and claims management

  • Liability Claims in construction often result from inadequate preparation. They may be the result of vague contractual terms or an unclear scope of work. The latter problem is usually solved by a step-wise, detailed scope definition, whereas detailed discussion of the major construction contracts often begins shortly before the tendering event. In our opinion, claim avoidance starts at the very beginning of this process.

    Role of ILF

Being involved in large construction projects on both sides for many years, as owner's representative and as contractor, we are well aware of the many pitfalls in contract management.

    Client Benefit

Our early involvement will help you avoid unnecessary disputes and allow you to focus on critical construction targets. We support you during all phases of the project: support in defining proper contracts, contract administration and of course, support during an actual claim.
